Blood Orange Cheese Board

Blood Orange Cheese Board

Serves 8-10

3 or 4 varieties of fresh cheeses, 4-6 ounces each (a mix of hard and soft cheeses is recommended)
1/3 cup Sophia Pure Blossom Honey
⅓ cup of Sophia Fig Preserves (or your favorite fruit preserve)
1 cup toasted, spiced or candied nuts (walnuts, pecans, almonds, marcona almonds)
¼ cup whole grain mustard
2 blood oranges
3 additional varieties of dried or fresh fruit (apples, persimmons, pears, figs, pomegranate, grapes)
1 box of Sophia Grissini Breadsticks
1 baguette
Sprigs of rosemary or citrus leaves for garnish

Place cheeses in 3 different areas on a large cutting board or platter. Pre-slice a little of the harder cheeses and make sure to have a knife on or near each cheese. Slice blood oranges in half or into wedges and pre-slice larger fruit.  Place fruit varieties around the board, paying attention to evenly distribute by color and texture. Add small bowls of nuts, honey, fig jam, mustard, and olives in separate areas on the board with small serving spoons. Slice the baguette and serve either on the side or tucked into the board. Garnish with rosemary sprigs or citrus leaves.

Enjoy!
